臺南市後壁區日光石頭博物館前台1線南下處，在11日凌晨1點41分左右，一輛轎車行經該處，不明原因衝出路旁護欄墜落邊坡意外。

臺南市政府消防局獲報有車輛摔落邊坡，隨即派出後壁、白河分隊、3車6人，嘉義縣消防局亦派人員車輛前往現場救援，到達後發現車輛摔落邊坡高度約3層樓高。消防人員立即架設美式雙節梯下去查看並確認車內受傷人數，發現車上駕駛1人，18歲王姓女子，意識清楚，身體受擦挫傷，消防人員立即以油壓剪破壞車門協助脫困，由後壁91救護車送往柳營奇美醫院治療。
