屏東佳冬鄉驚傳持刀殺人案，造成1 死3傷慘劇，吳姓犯嫌(50歲)與鍾姓被害人(62歲)為鄰居關係，吳姓犯嫌於24日晚持刀前往鍾姓被害人住處，找鍾姓被害人理論，雙方一言不合，吳姓犯嫌竟持刀砍殺鍾姓被害人，鍾姓被害人妻子及兒子見狀上前攔阻，2人也遭砍傷，現場血跡斑斑。吳姓犯嫌犯案後即逃離現場，警方發現吳嫌時，他倒臥住家門口，腸子外露，趕緊將人送醫。

枋寮分局於111年10月24日20時29分許接獲報案，稱於佳冬鄉發生持刀砍人案，勤務中心獲報後立即派遣快打部隊及偵查隊警力趕赴現場，發現現場有3名傷者，分別為鍾姓夫妻及兒子，且1名傷者傷勢嚴重，員警立即通知救護車，將鍾姓等3名傷者送醫救治，經搶救鍾姓丈夫宣告不治。枋寮分局立即成立專案小組追查，經查訪現場證人及調閱現場監視器，發現是住在被害人住處不遠處之吳姓男子所為，專案小組趕往吳姓犯嫌住處準備逮捕時，發現吳姓犯嫌亦受傷倒臥住處門口，警方立即通知救護車將吳姓嫌犯送醫救治並由警方派員戒護。
經查吳姓犯嫌與鍾姓被害人為鄰居關係，吳姓犯嫌於昨(24)日晚間持刀前往鍾姓被害人住處，找鍾姓被害人理論，雙方一言不合，吳姓犯嫌竟持刀砍殺鍾姓被害人，鍾姓被害人妻子及兒子見狀，上前攔阻，雙雙受傷，吳姓犯嫌犯案後即逃離現場。
全案將報請臺灣屏東地方檢察署檢察官指揮偵辦，有關行兇動機及案發原因仍待偵訊犯嫌並蒐集相關犯案事證深入追查後加以釐清。
