大谷翔平再見三振K掉神鱒 日本擊敗美國制霸經典賽

日本3:2擊敗美國，三度獲得經典賽冠軍（圖＿WBC臉書）。
2023 WBC經典賽冠軍賽，由「侍Japan」 日本對決星光熠熠的美國，兩支球隊都拿過冠軍。日本推出國際賽表現出色的左投今永昇太，美國則是推派亞利桑納響尾蛇隊的凱利（Merrill Kelly） 。
美國隊2局上率先展開攻勢，狀態火燙的透納（Trea Turner）一棒轟出右外野，連三場開轟，本屆賽事累積5轟，美國取得1:0領先。2局下半日本馬上反撲，上一場敲出再見安打的「村神」村上宗隆找回打擊手感，敲出陽春砲追平比數。接著岡本和真及源田壯亮接連安打，中村悠平選到保送，日本攻佔滿壘。第一棒努特巴爾 （Lars Nootbaar）敲出滾地球帶有一分打點，日本攻下超前分。4局下班岡本和真敲出陽春砲追加保險分，日本取得3:1領先。
5、6局美國都形成一、二壘有人的局面，但都無功而返。八局上日本推派達比修有擔任第六任投手，狀況不穩的他好幾顆球都跑到紅中，纏鬥許久一記大紅中終於被史瓦伯（Kyle Schwarber ）逮中，轟上外野二樓看台，美國隊將比分追至一分差。9局下美國最後反攻，日本派上大谷翔平關門，上場後先保送了麥克尼爾（Jeff McNeil），但是讓下一棒的貝茲（Mookie Betts）擊出雙殺打。兩出局後美國輪到大谷翔平的巨星隊友、「神鱒」楚奧特（Mike Trout）打擊，全世界最頂尖的兩位棒球選手上演世紀大對決。大谷翔平100英里火球連發，滿球數後突然來一記軌跡漂亮的滑球，讓楚奧特揮棒落空，用再見三振幫助日本隊獲得經典賽冠軍，登上世界之顛。

大谷翔平本屆經典賽繳出神級成績單，獲得本屆賽事MVP。投手「大谷」拿下2勝1救援，打者「翔平」在23個打數中敲出10支安打，包含4支二壘安打以及1發全壘打，累積8分打點、平均打擊率高達4成35。
