去年9月10日，Bryan Bresee所屬的克萊門森大學主場迎戰傅爾曼大學賽前，教練Dabo Swinney以及隊友穿上E11a Strong(11是Bryan Bresee的背號)的衣服幫Ella加油打氣，Ella本來要和球隊一同進場，但是比賽前一天病痛發作被送往急診室。

Ella去世後，Bryan Bresee寫下：「我美麗的妹妹艾拉，每一天我都為你與病魔對抗的精神感到驚訝，你總是如此正向地面對它。我從沒想過今天會和你說再見，感謝你為那麼多人帶來快樂。天堂今天得到了一位美麗的天使，你是最棒的妹妹，永遠愛你。」
Bryan Bresee在就讀大馬士革高中時是美足與籃球的雙棲運動員，他在籃球上繳出平均雙十的成績，不過在足球場的表現更驚人，共繳出35次擒殺以及134次擒抱（80次tackles for loss），讓他獲得五星高中生的評價，247SPORTS甚至將他評為當屆第一名的高中生。進入克萊門森大學後，Bryan Bresee首年即被選為ACC分區年度最佳防守新秀。隔年因為肩膀以及ACL的傷勢只出賽了四場比賽，他還是入選了ACC分區年度第三隊。2022年賽季，他出賽10場比賽，入選了ACC分區年度第二隊。賽季中遭遇了妹妹離世，在季末又因為咽喉炎導致腎臟感染而缺席比賽。
總計Bryan Bresee大學出賽26場比賽，21場先發，繳出9次擒殺以及64次擒抱。6呎5吋、體重298磅的他在測試會交出傑出的體測成績。40碼衝刺4.86 秒，是這個位置第四快的成績，前10碼1.71秒是該位置的第二名，展現出他頂尖的爆發力。以一個防守截鋒而言，Bryan Bresee的體能條件是精英等級，充足的力量以及紮實的手部運用都是他的優勢，但衝刺技術層面還有進步的空間。然而，他的傷病史是令人擔憂的一點，能否長期耐得住NFL等級的身體碰撞是個大問題。此外，他的體重也還有增重的空間。根據體能教練Ryan Horton的統計，NFL防守截鋒的平均體重約是309磅。
