新竹縣竹北市（24）日上午發生多起瓦斯外洩事件，其中一棟大樓發生氣爆意外！造成一名16歲陳姓少年在睡夢中遭到炸傷，造成全身脫皮燒燙傷面積達9成以上，插管治療，5人輕傷送醫。新竹縣府將全力協助受災戶申請國賠。
昨（24）日上午8時許新竹縣竹北市發生多起瓦斯加壓站壓力異常，一處社區集合式大樓民宅發生氣爆火警，共造成1人重傷、5人輕傷憾事，其中1名16歲少年在睡夢中遭到炸傷，造成全身脫皮，約91%面積1到2度燒燙傷，插管治療。當時屋內還有少年的姊姊與母親均受輕傷。新竹瓦斯公司指出是「有異物」跑進瓦斯管線，導致皮膜破損、管線內壓力增加。
