消基會轟好市多A肝莓賠償無誠意 將提起團體訴訟

五月，好市多自有品牌科克蘭綜合莓、藍莓接連被驗出A肝病毒，引起民眾恐慌（圖＿食藥署提供）。
今年四月，好市多爆出冷凍綜合莓、草莓和藍莓驗出A肝病毒的爭議，造成4萬2000名購買商品的消費者感染A肝病毒疑慮。因此，好市多被高雄市衛生局開罰750萬以及450萬元。好市多提出全額退費並另提供所購買商品同等價額慰問金、補助每人新台幣500元的檢測費用以及負責食用食品受影響商品之相關醫療費用。
針對好市多的補償措施，消基會一再呼籲好市多公司必須拿出誠意，妥善處理這樁重大食安事件，卻始終不見好市多公司的善意處理事宜。消基會強調，一個跨國性大企業長期受到台灣廣大消費者的支持，卻在面臨誤失時擺出不友善與不誠信的解決態度，對於好市多公司「退1賠1」這樣不負責任的措施表達遺憾。
對此，消基會今日決定正式出面替消費者爭取公道，希望透過司法途徑，迫使企業承擔責任並改正行為，以負責的態度確保消費者的食品安全獲得保障。
消基會表示，提起團體訴訟實為不得不的行動，畢竟訴訟都需要花費大量人力、物力，消基會懇切呼籲消費者首先要團結起來，展現求償的決心，業者才會有所顧忌。消基會說明，在完成資料整理的作業後，就會向法院遞狀，為消費者爭取合理權益 。
