「2023年臺南國際餐酒嘉年華」將於10月21日、22日在河樂廣場盛大舉辦，不但集結逾50家在地美食、佐餐酒業者、甜品等名店，更宣布與調酒知名品牌「威士忌臺傲日WHISKY TIMEOUT」強強聯手，更邀請來自7國21位國際知名調酒師，與臺灣在地200位調酒師共襄盛舉。

黃偉哲表示，首屆餐酒嘉年華舉辦時為疫情期間，仍然造成轟動，可見活動深獲肯定。今年規模更勝以往，邀請臺灣在地200位調酒師，聯手來自日、韓、泰、越、新加坡、馬來西亞、香港等21位國際知名調酒師齊聚一堂，堪稱是亞洲美食餐酒界一大盛事。他也表示，臺南是文化古都、宗教之都，也是美食之都，期盼臺南在地美食文化結合餐酒，發展出臺南獨特的餐酒美食文化。
觀旅局長林國華局長說明，「2023年臺南國際餐酒嘉年華」集結逾50家在地美食、佐餐酒業者、甜品等名店，包含超難預約的「焼肉ショジョ Yakiniku SHOJO」、開業逾80載的「阿霞飯店」、風靡日本的臺灣之光「蜷尾家霜淇淋」、排隊名店「糯夫米糕」等臺南餐飲界夢幻陣容；且邀集超過80攤高檔酒品與調酒攤位，全臺逾200名調酒師參與，加碼邀請來自日、韓、泰、越、新加坡、馬來西亞、香港等21位國際知名調酒師共襄盛舉，設計臺南專屬酒單，與會者無須出國，即能充分品味異國風味的調酒魅力。

市府為使遊客安心參加活動，特別於活動期間安排雙層巴士接駁車，由臺南火車站至活動現場的河樂廣場繞行（10/21、10/22下午2時至8時），廣場旁環河街路段設置計程車停等區，同時提供代駕服務。黃偉哲市長籲請參加者依循小酌怡情、過飲傷身的「理性飲酒」及「未滿18歲禁止飲酒」；務必「開車不喝酒」及「酒後勿開車」，善加利用大眾運輸乘具，享受安全愉快的歡樂假期。
