老母親稱去修行卻失聯　嘉警在百里外台東尋獲

嘉義縣警局水上分局中莊聯合派出所，日前接獲蔡姓民眾報案，指稱其母親委託鄰居騎乘機車將其載往嘉義市搭火車，表示要去道觀修行，但事隔一日音訊全無，惟因母親有失智情形且年事已高，也無電話可聯繫，家人擔心發生意外。警方抽絲剝繭，尋線追察，終於聯繫上花東道觀，視訊老婦安全，家屬十分感激。

中莊聯合所指出，日前蔡姓民眾報案，稱其母親已失聯ㄧ日，所長黃俊傑得知後本著同理心，立即指派警員莊秉翰、侯凱文逐一調閱轄內監視器，並前往嘉義市調閱火車站及轄區之監視器過濾分析，抽絲剝繭清查老婦經過之處，終於皇天不負苦心人，發現老婦人出現在火車站計程車排班處，經研判可能搭乘計程車離開。

警員莊秉翰、侯凱文逐一查詢當地排班之計程車司機們，果真幸運地找到搭載老婦人之司機，然該司機表示老婦上車後說要包車前往新竹，但包車花費甚鉅，遂將其載往嘉義高鐵站搭乘高鐵，於是警員抱著一絲絲希望，前往高鐵站確認老婦搭乘高鐵北上後音訊全斷。

莊、侯二員頓感到挫折但仍不氣餒，再度再詢問其鄰居表示婦人有提起要去花東找某處道觀的徒弟。中莊暖警們憑藉此線索，再度展開大海撈針的尋人任務，經過了一波三折，逐一過濾花東的道觀，找尋老婦所謂之徒弟，最後聯繫上將老婦人接往台東道觀修行陳姓民眾。家屬們透過視訊方式確認老婦人的安全，心中的大石頭終得以放下，也對中莊派出所警員莊秉翰、侯凱文，連日來不辭辛勞的協尋及為民服務的堅持精神，表達深深的感謝及敬佩。
