電動車一撞燒不停火難熄 南市消防局添購利器滅火

知名藝人林志穎昨天駕駛電動車特斯拉，不明原因自撞分隔島，他和小孩被熱心民眾救出，送醫後沒有生命危險，但價值近400萬元的Tesla Model X卻陷入火海，雖然消防隊到場拉起水線灌救，但火勢延燒猛烈，短短時間內半個車身就燒個焦黑，其實從近期電動車多起事故可發現，一旦起火燃燒就很難撲滅，還會有復燃情形，得用大量的水才能澆熄，但隨著電動車輛普及，起火問題勢必更多，消防人員也得設法想出解決方式。

張姓車行老闆表示，以林志穎駕駛的Model X全電車為例，是靠著鋰電池把化學轉成電能，電池裡的化學原料很多，撞擊當下電路系統出現火花就容易起火，而且底盤下就是一顆大電池，火勢更是一發難以收拾。
台南市政府消防局災害搶救科指出，去年7月仁德區曾經發生一起Tesla Model 3車輛自撞起火事件，車底電池部位一直有火舌冒出，消防局一共出動6部水車持續灑水降溫，最後用了快20公噸的水才將火勢熄滅，與一般轎車火燒車大約3噸的用水量相去甚遠，還得注意是否會出現復燃情形。

因此南市消防局在7月特別採購3組滅火毯，提供相關車輛救災使用，此類滅火毯在覆蓋起火的車體時，可降低周圍溫度並減少煙霧產生，特殊矽膠塗層還能抑制有毒物質和氧氣穿透，使電池在受控制狀態下燃燒，防止火勢延燒周圍物體。
災害搶救科表示，滅火毯可耐1000-1300度高溫並可重複使用，尺寸為長8米寬6米，約30公斤，僅需2人即可將滅火毯拉開覆蓋起火的車輛，盡可能與地面密合以阻絕燃燒反應所需的氧氣而控制火勢，避免浪費大量水資源，快速又環保，可算是相對理想的電動車滅火第一線防護工具。
