屏東縣政府警察局於111年8月21日接獲通報，經立法委員居中協調於當日晚間有5名國人即將自泰國返台，其中4人為屏東縣籍，局長劉印宮立即指示由刑事警察大隊大隊長陳志埕率隊前往桃園機場等候，待人員安全返國下機後即接續偵查擴大偵辦，追查幕後集團。

屏東縣政府警察局長劉印宮表示，行政院已成立跨部會工作小組，針對國人遭求職打工詐騙進行預防、勸阻、救援、究辦等工作，在海外救援部分，將持續結合國內外公、私部門，盡全力提供援助，同時呼籲鄉親注意，現今網路科技發達，各類詐騙手法持續翻新，希望國人面對網路傳送高薪、包吃包住、工作輕鬆等誘騙投資訊息時，要特別提高警覺，小心求證才不會人財兩失。
