殺警奪槍凶嫌林信吾逃亡18小時落網 2員警相驗身上共55處刀傷

犯下驚天殺警奪槍案的林信吾23日凌晨在新竹落網，結束他將近18小時的逃亡生涯，警方在他身上起出警用手槍、2個彈匣還有18發子彈，且當時警槍已經上膛，或許是過度的疲累讓他喪失戒心，渾然不覺自己已經被優勢警力所包圍，最後終於被警方逮捕歸案；林信吾其實是從明德外役監脫逃的受刑人，15日逾假未歸後逃竄迄今，想呼吸自由空氣的他竟殘忍殺害2名員警，檢方相驗後凃曹2人各有17處、38處刀傷，究竟是什麼深仇大恨才能下此毒手，這瘋狂行徑無論如何都得付出代價，他最後失去的將會是永遠的自由。

犯下多起搶案鋃鐺入獄 外役監服刑逾假未歸
據了解，46歲的林信吾高中肄業、憲兵退伍，原本從事清潔工作，每月有4、5萬元的收入，他與前妻育有3名子女，離婚後交往另名女子，女友懷孕後因丟掉工作，2年多前接連在南市犯下多起案件，尤其是在安平區連犯2起全家超商搶奪案，其手法與逃亡期間在新營的手法一樣，都是先偷竊機車，再持水果刀或空氣槍行搶，只是這次拿的是警槍。
林信吾被判刑8年4個月，入監近1年半後轉往明德外役監服刑，期間表現正常，今年3/12首度核准返家探親，14日正常返監報到，8/13是第二次放假，但卻逾時未歸，獄方也通報警方協尋，但還沒找到人就鑄下滔天大禍。

偷車趴趴走遭警追緝 持刀殺人又搶警槍逃亡
林信吾向警方供稱，連日來他居無定所，22日當天偷了機車趴趴走，沒想到卻被警方盯上，他當時在公墓草叢喝酒，凃姓員警出現後雙方展開對峙，凃員朝林男噴灑辣椒水、對空鳴槍，林不想再回去蹲苦窯，抓狂似的持刀上前砍殺凃員，又搶走他的配槍，挾持凃員並威脅開車的曹姓員警，曹員曾試圖衝撞林男解圍，反遭連開4槍，車子撞上路牌後卡住，曹員下車後與林男扭打，殺紅了眼的林男痛下殺手，2名員警就此殞命。

轉換交通工具製造斷點閃警 往北只想離開台南
林信吾殺警後還企圖製造斷點，先把機車騎到鄰近的土城高中，清洗滅證後棄車搭乘計程車到市區，再搭公車到醫院治傷，又叫計程車到火車站，搭電車北上到新營站，出站後偷了部機車，搶完超商後搭白牌車直奔高雄九如交流道，隨即買票換搭國道客運北上新竹，期間總共換了6次交通工具，相當狡猾，面對警方詢問為何要到新竹，林信吾淡淡回應「只是想離開台南」。
警方專案小組事發後就整理相關資料，鎖定幾名犯嫌，並逐步排除涉案可能，尤其在土城高中的贓車上採到關鍵跡證，昨晚陳偉捷到案說明、新營搶案機車上的遺留指紋，都確定了做案的就是林信吾，警方考量客運上其他乘客安危，並未在中途停靠站新營圍捕，而是選在新竹，最後不花一槍一彈就化解危機，終於將惡徒逮捕，也告慰2名英勇員警在天之靈。
