屏東縣政府警察局東港分局因應近期國人遭詐騙集團以「高薪、免經驗、電腦文書打字」及「販賣存摺」等名目詐騙國人提供存摺囚禁後外出取款事件延燒，為杜絕相關案件發生，規劃「清樓專案」，針對轄內旅館、民宿、飯店、新建房樓實施臨檢稽查及犯罪預防宣導時在轄區東港鎮東新段一新建房樓前，見王姓男行跡可疑，向前往盤查，王姓男子竟是詐欺洗錢防制法通緝犯，立即將王姓男子帶回偵辦解送屏東地檢署歸案。

東港分局一直有針對詐欺案積極查處清樓作為，於今年8月間在轄區內破獲1起類似案件，共救出5名被控制行動的被害人，逮捕4名犯嫌。該詐欺集團利用出租套房作為據點，誆騙販賣存摺或求職應徵的民眾，稱除高薪外還可以提供食宿，待其上門後先以話術騙取提款卡及網路帳戶等資料，並在套房內監控、住宿多日，期間多次被要求前往領取詐騙款項，沿途且有詐騙集團同夥監控。該集團犯嫌拘提到案後，警方查扣多本存摺以及棍棒等犯案工具，均依妨害自由、詐欺等罪嫌移送屏東地方檢察署偵辦。
東港警分局長張世儒表示，詐騙集團利用人性弱點，以高薪輕鬆工作方式誘騙被害人見面收取存摺及提款卡等物後進行軟禁及押人取款之情事，警方會強勢打擊犯罪捍衛人民安全。再次呼籲民眾，如有高薪要聘請的工作，或要求提供帳號或銀行戶頭的情形，一定要謹慎小心求證，有任何疑問可以找派出所，或撥165反詐騙專線請求協助，警民合作共同消滅詐騙犯罪集團。
