不會變「美積電」！ 台積電南科3奈米量產 持續投資台灣

台灣積體電路製造股份有限公司今日（29）於南部科學園區晶圓十八廠新建工程基地舉行3奈米量產暨擴廠典禮，台積電董事長劉德音博士、行政院副院長沈榮津、經濟部長王美花、國家科學及技術委員會主任委員吳政忠、台南市長黃偉哲、南部科學園區管理局長蘇振綱、國立成功大學校長蘇慧貞皆到場共襄盛舉，共同見證台積公司在先進製程締造的重要里程碑。

劉德音表示，目前 3 奈米是世界上最先進的技術，製程良率已與 5 奈米量產同期相當，同步攜手客戶開發新產品進行大量生產。是世界上最先進的技術。在 5G 與高效能運算相關的市場趨勢帶動下， 3 奈米製程市場需求非常強勁，未來將被應用在許多頂尖科技產品之中，例如超級電腦、雲端資料中心和AR、VR等等。劉德音指出，3 奈米製程技術量產首年開始，每年帶來的收入都會大於同期的 5 奈米，目前估計，3 奈米技術量產 5 年內，將會釋放 1.5 兆美元的終端產品價值。

與會貴賓見證台積公司在先進製程締造的重要里程。

市長黃偉哲出席典禮時表示，台南市致力於提供園區好的發展條件，包括綠能、製程需要的綠能用水，也就是再生水，以及從建廠、研發、營運到行政等各種不同技術層級的人力供應。感謝台南市各界的努力，也期待台積電繼續帶領台灣半導體產業贏得勝利。

台積電自民國86年選定南科開始租地建廠起，隨公司成長一直在台南園區擴廠投資，充分發揮聚落與供應鏈優勢，使台南成為台積電先進製程晶圓量產最重要基地，也是全球半導體產業的重要聚落。

台積電將持續投資台灣。

本月6日，台積電在美國亞利桑那州舉辦5奈米廠裝機典禮，引來台積電將「去台化」以及「台灣會被美國掏空」的質疑。今日，劉德音在典禮上強調，台積電會深耕台灣，持續投資，與環境共榮。明年將會前往高雄和新竹的新廠，為發展台灣半導體繼續努力。
