宏都拉斯將與我國斷交 宏國外長：要求增加金援但台灣未回覆

宏都拉斯總統秀瑪拉．卡蕬楚（Xiomara Castro）昨（15）日於推特表示，已指示外交部長雷納（Eduardo Reina）處理與中國的建交事宜。
宏國外交部長雷納Enrique Reina 表示：「 宏都拉斯基於人民利益而尋求國際關係的建立，所以我們必須與世界上最大的國家合作 。我們需要投資和合作，對此我們有巨大的需求，但還沒有看到台灣給出回應。」 雷納進一步說，宏都拉斯曾要求台灣將每年的援助增加至 1 億美元，但還沒得到回覆。 雷納強調，宏都拉斯試圖重新談判欠台灣的6億債務，但也沒有任何結果。
對此消息，外交部發布新聞稿表示，自宏都拉斯總統卡蕬楚（Xiomara Castro）於2022年1月上任以來，依據宏國政府施政優先順序，積極與宏國持續磋商雙邊合作計畫。且數度向宏方表示，我國願在能力範圍內協助宏國推動建設發展，同時一再提醒宏國注意中國的不實承諾。外交部強調，對於兩國關係出現警訊，迄今仍努力維持邦誼，
中國外交部發言人汪文斌對此表示歡迎，強調同中國建交是順應歷史和政治潮流的正確選擇。
這是繼2021年尼加拉瓜與台斷交後，台灣的外交危機再度浮上檯面。 若宏都拉斯決定與台灣斷交，台灣邦交國僅剩下13國，分別是馬紹爾群島、諾魯、帛琉、吐瓦魯國、史瓦帝尼、教廷、貝里斯、瓜地馬拉、海地、巴拉圭、聖克里斯多福及尼維斯聯邦、聖露西亞以及聖文森國。
