台灣知名肉品供應商，屏東縣萬丹鄉的富統食品股份有限公司昨（25日）晚間驚傳火警，濃煙火焰直竄夜空，警消出動22車全力搶救，火勢於晚間11點15分受到控制，但直至26日早上7點才全面滅火，該場火警延燒近12小時，燒毀面積達2000平方公尺，幸無人傷亡，起火原因尚待調查。

屏東消防隊昨25日19時51分接獲萬丹鄉泉順街發生工廠火警，派遣第二大隊、萬丹、新園、竹田、屏二、潮州、內埔、龍泉、東港、新埤、萬巒、、屏東、特搜大隊共計出動救災(含救護車、指揮車)22輛、消防人員42人、義消50人，由局長許美雪到場指揮調度。
現場為(富統食品公司)3樓鐵皮建築物起火燃燒，立即佈水線搶救，並通知環保局、台電公司、自來水公司及調用民間怪手到場協助救災，現場無人員受傷受困，火勢於當日23時15分控制。今26日07時火勢熄滅殘火處理，燃燒面積約2000平方公尺，起火原因由警方及消防局火調人員調查。
