南警破獲工廠職業賭場 赫見新住民大玩天九牌 逮31名賭客送辦

台南市警察局永康警分局今（29）日凌晨佛曉再破工廠內天九牌職業賭場
台南市警察局永康警分局今（29）日凌晨佛曉再破工廠內天九牌職業賭場，永康警方日前接獲線報，疑似有不良份子經營職業賭場在永康轄區流竄，分局長甘炎民知悉後，立即籌組專案查緝小組，發現轄區竹林街一處工廠疑似作為聚賭場所，今凌晨1時許，派遣保安警察大隊霹靂小組支援，持臺南地方法院搜索票，攻堅衝進工廠內當場查獲王姓負責人（71年次）與王姓（51年次）清注人員、王姓（49年次）把風人員及現場賭客共計31人，並查扣天九牌1副、骰子9顆、抽頭金新臺幣1700元等證物，警方在清查身分時發現還有不少越南籍新住民在內，且玩起天九牌不輸臺灣人，全案共計逮獲31人依法送辦！

據了解該職業賭場王姓負責人為躲避警方查緝，除選擇工廠作為賭場聚點外並透過把風過濾賭客，王嫌為經營職業賭場亦廣邀越南籍新住民到場聚賭，並刻意利用夜間凌晨時段來聚賭經營，比較不會讓警方察覺，然不知警方已追蹤多時，仍逃不出遭到查緝到案命運，許多賭客及越南籍新住民賭客面對警方衝進賭場的攻堅氣勢，都嚇得話說不出來呆坐一旁，案經警方逐一清查，全案詢後分別將賭場負責人、清注人員、把風人員依照刑法賭博罪嫌移送臺南地檢署偵辦，其餘28名賭客則依社會秩序維護法各裁處新臺幣9000元罰鍰。

永康分局長甘炎民表示，繼昨日查獲職業賭場後今再破天九牌職業賭場，展現刨除力道絕不鬆懈，且不分晝夜全力查緝，為避免黑道幫派趁隙介入，斷絕不法金流，警方將以嚴正執法手段，宣示打擊犯罪決心，全力防制不肖份子利用職業賭場牟利，賭博造成的損害不只是個人財產損失，更可能遭到詐賭導致傾家蕩產、家破人亡，甚至引發後續債務押人討債等暴力犯行，若不儘速查緝法辦，恐難以安定民心，還給居民安穩的居住環境。
